This was (yet another) project close to our hearts. Wes Braddock, a NZ inventor and founder, approached us with his newest idea: a first-of-its-kind game fishing lure that flashes – and so attracts more bites.

Our partnership with Strobe began at concept stage, working closely with Wes to develop the launch strategy and brand identity. The challenge was to get cut-through in a competitive category quickly, but without alienating potential customers in the game fishing world who are famously not creatures of change.

Our response was a bright, punchy, technical brand, unlike anything that exists in the industry, but not so far away that it’s unrecognisable. Telling the story was equally important, so we edited existing footage and curated the copy to best communicate Strobe’s point of difference, as well as Wes’ personal story.

We also supported Strobe with creating a range of assets for launch, including campaign templates, 3D product renders, and a streamlined one-page website. The final result was Wes exceeding his Kickstarter goal in the first day, and a whole lot of buzz in the NZ-market as anglers await the full launch in 2026!

"Ethan and Artje have been brilliant! They have helped us create a brand for our new Strobe lures from scratch. Logos, colour schemes, websites, promotional videos, kickstarter promos and advice for product launches, nothing is too difficult for this team. There is no way we could have got this project off the ground without their friendly and very professional assistance."
